Adelaide is in for a mix of weather over the next few days, with the Bureau of Meteorology forecasting showers, cooler temperatures, and shifting winds as the week unfolds.
Today will be warm but unsettled, reaching twenty six degrees with a seventy per cent chance of showers and up to four millimetres of rain. Winds will move from east to northeasterly, picking up strength through the morning.
Friday will bring a cooler change, with temperatures between seventeen and twenty three degrees and possible morning thunderstorms. Showers are expected through the day as winds turn northwesterly before swinging south to southwesterly at twenty-five to thirty-five kilometres per hour.
Saturday will feel noticeably cooler, ranging from eleven to eighteen degrees with only a slight chance of morning showers. Southerly winds of twenty to thirty kilometres per hour will keep conditions fresh and cloudy.
The cooler pattern will continue into Sunday and Monday, with isolated showers possible and temperatures slowly climbing from 10 degrees up to 20 degrees by Monday. Shower activity may extend into Tuesday and Wednesday, with a mix of partly cloudy skies.
Strong wind warnings are also in effect for coastal regions, including the Far West, Upper and Lower West Coasts on Thursday, extending to the Central Coast, South Central Coast, Spencer Gulf, Gulf St Vincent, and the Upper and Lower South East Coasts on Friday.
Those in affected areas should secure outdoor items and stay alert to marine conditions, with the Bureau urging fishers and boaters to check the latest forecasts before heading out.
