Adelaide is now in full Autumn mode and will see a mixed week of weather ahead. Conditions will range from possible morning showers to sunny days, according to the Bureau of Meteorology’s latest report. Today, temperatures will reach a cool 21 degrees with partly cloudy skies. The likelihood of rain remains low, mostly affecting the hills and southern suburbs. Wind conditions will see a transition from south to southeasterly throughout the day.
Wednesday promises clearer skies with sunshine and temperatures topping 23 degrees, and a low of 10 degrees. The city will experience light winds, beginning east to southeasterly before shifting southwesterly.
The weather continues to improve on Thursday with a forecasted high of 25 degrees and mostly sunny conditions. On Thursday there will be a slight chance of a shower in the evening, with winds heading east to northeasterly 15 to 20 km/h shifting west to northwesterly 15 to 25 km/h during the day then becoming light during the evening.
As for Friday, the rain will be back with a max of 23 degrees and a high chance of showers, most likely in the morning. Winds will be west to northwesterly 15 to 20 km/h, turning south to southwesterly 15 to 25 km/h during the morning. As for the weekend, expect to see similar conditions.
A flood warning is in place for inland rivers, noting that floodwaters from Queensland are affecting levels in South Australia, including Coogie Lakes and Walkers Crossing.
