Adelaide weather forecast for Tuesday April 29th and the days ahead

Adelaide anticipates a mixed week of rain and sunshine with temperatures gradually warming and flood warnings for the Inland Rivers.

Adelaide residents can expect a variety of weather conditions over the coming week, according to the latest data provided by the Bureau of Meteorology. Today’s forecast indicates a maximum temperature of 21 degrees with occasional showers. The chance of rain today stands at 60%, with potential thunderstorms primarily around the hills during the afternoon and evening. Residents of the northern suburbs should be prepared for possible early morning fog.

Over the next few days, the weather will slowly improve. Wednesday promises partly cloudy skies with a slight reduction in temperature, featuring a low of 11 degrees and a high of 20 degrees and the likelihood of rain drops to 10%. By Thursday, the city will experience mostly sunny weather with a peak temperature again reaching 20 degrees and the chance of rain decreasing to about 5%.

The weather will continue to clear later in the week. Friday is set to be sunny with a slight increase in temperatures, ranging from a minimum of 8 degrees to a maximum of 22 degrees. Saturday calls for mostly sunny skies with temperatures peaking at 25 degrees. The warm trend will continue through Sunday and Monday, with highs of 27 degrees and 28 degrees respectively, and mostly sunny conditions.

As for greater South Australia, today’s conditions will see showers in the southern agricultural areas, extending at times to the northern agricultural districts and southern pastoral regions during the afternoon. This will ease by the evening, contracting to coastal areas and the southern ranges.

The Bureau of Meteorology has also issued a flood warning for the Inland Rivers of South Australia. Current flood warnings are in place following peak water levels at Coongie Lakes, Walkers Crossing, and Poothapoota Waterhole. The Warburton River at Poothapoota Waterhole has seen river levels reach 6.29 m and are now at 6.22 m and slowly falling.
