Adelaide we’re in for a hot one!
For the rest of Tuesday, Adelaide will see sunny skies with a scoarching top of 38 degrees. Winds will be easterly 15 to 25 km/h tending northeasterly 20 to 30 km/h in the morning then turning east to southeasterly 15 to 20 km/h in the afternoon. Conditions will be dry with a zero per cent chance of rain.
As for the fire danger rating, there is no rating in the Adelaide Metropolitan area, but in the Mount Lofty Ranges, it is high.
Wednesday’s temperature will rise even higher to 42 degrees with a low of 26 degrees. Skies will remain clear with winds easterly 15 to 20 km/h turning northeasterly 25 to 35 km/h before dawn.
As for Thursday, temperatures will cool back down with a moderate high of 28 degrees and a low of 20, with a medium chance of showers, most likely in the morning and a mostly sunny afternoon. Winds will be northwesterly 25 to 30 km/h turning west to southwesterly 25 to 35 km/h during the day. The cloudy skies are set to continue into next week with the temperatures continuing staying in the mid 20s.

Severe Heatwave Warnings have been issued for Kangaroo Island, Mid North, West Coast, Eastern Eyre Peninsula, Lower Eyre Peninsula and North West Pastoral Districts
Over the week the UV levels are expected to reach highs of 11 and 12, meaning sun protection is recommended from 9:20am to 5:30pm daily.
