Adelaide weather forecast for Tuesday July 29th and the days ahead

Over the week Adelaide can expect mixed conditions with the cold temperatures and rain continuing.

Over the next few days, Adelaide can expect a continuation of cool temperatures and showers, according to the latest forecast from the Bureau of Meteorology. Today, the weather in Adelaide will reach a chilly maximum of 13 degrees with a couple of showers likely. These conditions are due to a cold front moving across the central and eastern parts of South Australia, and a low-pressure system affecting the southern pastoral districts.

For the rest of Tuesday, Adelaide will experience cloudy skies with a high chance of showers in the northern suburbs and a medium chance elsewhere. The expected rainfall could range from 0 to 3 mm with winds originating from the east at 15 to 25 km/h, tapering off by late afternoon.

The weather on Wednesday and Thursday suggests similar conditions, with both days expecting a minimum of 6 degrees and 5 degrees, and a maximum of 13 degrees and 14 degrees. Both days also carry a 60 per cent and 40 per cent chance of rain, with possible rainfall amounts being quite low. The winds on these days will shift from light to southerly at 15 to 20 km/h around midday, then calming by the evening.

Looking ahead, the forecast from Friday to Monday predicts slightly warmer temperatures ranging from a low of 5 degrees to a high of 16 degrees. Friday and Saturday are looking to be partly cloudy, whilst Sunday could see possible showers again. Monday is expected to end with showers, marking a wet start to the new week.

There are a few weather warnings in place for South Australia, as the Bureau of Meteorology has issued a Strong Wind Warning for the Far West Coast for today.
