There will be a slight chance of morning fog along with a slight chance of showers. A thunderstorm could develop in the late morning and extend into the afternoon. Winds are expected to shift from light to westerly, reaching speeds of 15 to 20 km/h, before turning southwesterly later in the day.
The sunny weather will make a return on Wednesday, 12 March, providing clear skies throughout the day. Temperatures are forecasted to range from 18°C in the morning to 30°C in the afternoon. Winds will be mostly light, turning south to southwesterly and increasing to 15 to 25 km/h by midday, becoming southeasterly by the evening.
On Thursday, 13 March, the trend of sunny weather continues with temperatures expected to climb slightly higher, ranging from a minimum of 16°C to a maximum of 32°C. The area will experience southeast to northeasterly winds throughout the day, complemented by afternoon coastal breezes.
Looking towards the weekend, Friday shows a promise of sunshine with the highest temperatures of the week, reaching up to 37°C. However, the weather is set to change on Saturday, 15 March, with a possibility of showers and a further increase in temperature up to 38°C. By Sunday, 16 March, the chance of showers increases, and temperatures will drop to more moderate levels, between 20°C and 28°C.
Across the state, isolated showers and thunderstorms are predicted, mainly affecting the Lower South East district.
