Adelaide is set for a party cloudy day today with rain expected later this evening. The temperature will be relatively warm, with a high of 20 degrees and a low of 11 degrees.
Looking to some of Adelaide’s neighbouring towns, Stirling is expecting a chilly top of 17 degrees, while Roxby downs will be warm with a high of 25 degrees.
Nuriootpa, Victor Harbor and Mount Barker are all expecting tops of 19 degrees. Naracoorte, Mount Gambier and Coonawarra will see a top of 17 degrees, and Jamestown and Clare are also expecting a top of 19 degrees.
BOM has issued a Gale Wind Warning for Lower West Coast, Central Coast, South Central Coast, Upper South East Coast and Lower South East Coast. There is also a Strong Wind Warning for Adelaide Metropolitan Waters, Far West Coast, Upper West Coast, Spencer Gulf, Gulf St Vincent and Investigator Strait.
BOM has also warned of cold temperatures, rain, showers and strong northerly winds expected during the evening, particularly affecting parts of the Kangaroo Island forecast district. There is a risk of potential losses for lambs and sheep exposed to these weather conditions.
Taking a look over to our friends interstate, Melbourne is expecting a mostly sunny top of 16 degrees. Sydney will be mostly sunny and 21 degrees, Brisbane also mostly sunny with a warm top of 23 degrees, while Perth will be expecting showers and 16 degrees.
Looking ahead to the weekend, both Saturday and Sunday will see highs of 14, and lows of 9 and 5 degrees respectively. It will be a bit rainy on Saturday, most likely in the morning, but Sunday will see a nice bit of sun.
