SA’s own Sinja Hallam, the executive and leadership coach and founder of The Power to Transform, has been honoured with a Silver award at the 2025 Women Changing the World Global Awards. The ceremony, held in London, celebrates influential women from all around the globe who are creating worldwide change in various sectors, including leadership, health, and education.

Sinja stood out among nominees from 55 countries for her significant contributions to organisational and leadership transformation, taking away the silver prize in the Corporate & Public Sector category. The award was even presented by Dr. Tererai Trent, a world-renowned humanitarian and Oprah Winfrey’s all-time favourite guest, and Sarah Ferguson, The Duchess of York.

Dr. Trent celebrated the winners, saying, “These exceptional women are here to awaken hearts, give permission to recapture dreams and inspire the women of the world to come together to forge a brighter path for all. The rising of women is the awakening of everybody.”

Sinja shared, “I was completely blown away when my name was called. Standing alongside extraordinary women from 55 countries around the world – each creating powerful ripples of change – was humbling and galvanising. It fuels my mission to lead transformative, human-centred change through courageous, heart-led leadership.

“This award means so much because it recognises not just the work I do with courageous leaders and change-makers, but the ripple effect that work creates — across organisations, industries, and generations.”

Over the last 20 years, Sinja has become known for her signature coaching practices, the WiseHeartMind Leadership™ Method and Intentionally You™ Coaching Program. These have been crafted for ambitious leaders, especially women in male-dominated fields. Her approach blends emotional intelligence, neuroscience, and strategic purpose to help her clients achieve better performance while remaining true to their values.

“The corporate world can no longer afford leadership that’s disconnected from human needs,” Sinja said.

“I teach leaders to bridge brain logic with heart logic to build psychologically safe, diverse, and high-performing workplaces. The future of leadership is heart-centred — and that future needs to be brought forward faster.”

In the past year alone, Hallam has coached more than 200 leaders globally, many of whom have advanced to more senior roles with significant increases in their earning potential. Her initiatives have independently generated social impacts valued at $1.2 million by making coaching programs accessible to underserved communities.

Her efforts have also led to better team engagement, well-being, and productivity across various sectors. Recognition of her commitment to professional excellence came with her achieving the International Coaching Federation ICF Accredited Certified Coach (ACC) credential.

Reflecting on her experience at the awards ceremony, Sinja said it was “incredibly moving and heartwarming to be surrounded by and meet women who uplift rather than compete—whose work is driven by service, not ego.”

Looking to the future, Sinja is focused on expanding her impact globally, creating a new era of leadership that prioritises psychological safety and emotional intelligence.

“I’m not just coaching leaders. I’m transforming the way we lead — and live.”
