The Camp Quality Supper Club is taking place in six cities across Australia in May, kicking off in Adelaide. Almost 200 restaurants from the who’s who of Australian fine dining will lend their support to raise money for children living with cancer and their families.

Adelaide’s Auge Ristorante, d’Artagnan Restaurant and Lounge, Mount Lofty House, The Manse are just a handful of the restaurants who have donated a table of 12 to be involved in the Adelaide event on Thursday May 3.

Diners will be served a stunning dinner complete with FIJI Water as well as French champagne from Champagne Taittinger and local wines from award-winning McWilliam’s, both new sponsors for 2012.

Each table of diners will then be chauffeured in style by Lexus and Renaissance limousines to a secret ‘Masquerade Ball’ where guests from across the city will converge to party the night away with live entertainment, dancing and drinks.

In addition to the ‘Classic’ dinners, unique ‘Signature’ events are also available for the first time in 2012 offering individuals and smaller groups the chance to join in the fun at ‘Mystery’ dinners.

The Adelaide Supper Club takes place on May 3 and funds raised go towards Camp Quality family camps, giving families a break from cancer. Camp Quality family Bernadette, Paul and Claire “The Brookers”, describe their first ever family camp:

“Being our first camp, we were a little unsure of what to expect. Meeting the other families and having a chance to chat about our stories was so good for us.

It was so lovely to see Claire making friends so easily with the other kids on Camp – the kids must just have a feeling of belonging somehow and feel that connection from their experiences. For Paul it was so good. It’s not “normal”for blokes to be chatters and I know Paul took so much away from the weekend – just so good to talk and catch up with the other Dads.

Camp Quality looked after us so well it was quite overwhelming. The venue was spot on. Cabins lovely and having the camp kitchen, jumping pillow, indoor pool and the beach at your front door was fabulous! There was a great mix of time together and the families own time. I hope we can get to more and that one day Claire might enjoy going along to a camp on her own. We would love nothing more than to see her grow up and become a camp leader one day.

So thanks for bringing Camp Quality closer to regional families. We loved it and can’t wait to come along again!”

Tables of 12 can be purchased for $2400 and a full list of restaurants can be found at
