Adelaide’s Budding Filmmakers Hit The Big Screen

The Adelaide Advertising and Design Club (AADC) will host its latest film competition, the KOJO Smartphone Short Film Night at the Mercury Cinema on Tuesday 2 October 2012 to celebrate Adelaide’s next generation of filmmakers.

The competition required entrants to create short films using only their smartphones and desktop software for editing, to capture and express the theme, ‘Crew’.

Entries will be judged and awarded on the night, based on originality, creativity, entertainment and how the theme has been illustrated. Judges will assess submissions primarily on the idea behind the film, followed by the quality of the production.

The audience will have an opportunity to view all approved entries on the big screen and celebrate the winning films, with awards going to Best Script, Best Actor, Best Sound, Best Student Entry, Best Captured Theme, and the top gong, Best Film.

All are welcome to attend the KOJO Smartphone Short Film Night.
