There’s also live outdoor music and a specially curated Belgian Twilight food menu.

Palace Nova East Cinema Presents McQueen

In their critically acclaimed documentary ‘McQueen’, directors Ian Bonhôte and Peter Ettedgui bring rich new detail to the classic misfit tale of late couturier Alexander McQueen.

Deftly weaving together candid and revelatory interviews with colleagues, friends and family, you’ll be moved by the unruly and unlikely true story of how one overweight, gay, working-class outsider beguiled and then became international fashion royalty — fearlessly riveting and revolting the gatekeepers with the savage beauty of his work.

General admission is $12, movie club tickets are $10 and each include a glass of bubbles on arrival. Tickets can be purchases here.

When? Friday 18 October, from 9pm

Where? Palace Nova East Cinema
