Fitoor – Fusion Kitchen + Bar has officially opened its doors in Kensington Park, and brings an exciting twist to Adelaide’s dining scene in the east, promising a journey through authentic Indian fusion cuisine.
Fitoor combines cooking traditions from around the world, under the guidance of co-founder and Chef, Maheep Singh.
With more than 15 years of experience in the industry across India, Kuwait, Australia, and his most recent role at Sky City’s Adelaide Casino, Chef Maheep brings innovation to the kitchen through rich flavours and creativity.
“Customers are absolutely loving it. They are loving the fusion concept, they are loving the type of food we are doing, they are happy with the taste and presentation…” says Chef Maheep Singh.
The star of their menu so far has been their delicious bao buns, which have captured the hearts and palates of customers since the restaurant’s opening, with options like butter chicken, chicken tikka, cottage cheese, and even a vegan bao.

It’s not just the bao buns that have been popular since Fitoor’s opening, with the hearty curries, including beef cheek and lamb shank curry, emerging as winter favourites, perfectly paired with a glass of red wine.
“Everyone is absolutely loving the curries, and they are pairing well with the wines, especially my beef cheek curry and my lamb shank curry… the lamb shank literally falls off the bone,” says Maheep.
Fitoor – Fusion Kitchen + Bar is not just focused on top-quality food and dishes, but also on creating excellent beverages.
With a team of professional bartenders, mixologists, and baristas onboard, the restaurant aims to offer a modern dining experience, where every sip as memorable as every bite.
“We are selling a good amount of cocktails, we’ve had quite good feedback on cocktails as well… they [customers] are loving the taste and presentation of cocktails, and the glassware,” says Maheep.
