Amazing Grazers, a pioneer in the South Australian grazing board scene, has continued to innovate the local food and entertainment market with the launch of Adelaide’s first ‘Build Your Own Platterbox’ Cheese and Wine bar. The pop-up, in partnership with Parco on Hutt Street, is set to become a popular destination this winter, offering customisable platterboxes three afternoons a week.

Visitors can now create their own platterboxes every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 3pm to 6:30pm. These unique platterboxes can be enjoyed on-site, complemented by a range of beverages from the bar, or taken away to savour at home.

The concept of a DIY cheese and wine bar was inspired by a similar idea that went viral in London. Tania Pradun, the founder of Amazing Grazers, together with long-time friend and new business partner Alexandra Psaltis, were motivated by its success to introduce this engaging experience in South Australia. Tania and Alexandra believe in the power of personal choice in food selection, which aligns with the DIY theme of the pop-up.

This endeavour follows Tania’s successful ‘Graze Anatomy’ masterclasses held in 2023. These two-hour sessions not only educated participants on crafting the perfect grazing board but also highlighted how to accentuate local produce creatively. The pop-up aims to extend this knowledge, allowing the general public to apply their skills in a practical setting, guided by experts.

Since its inception in November 2016, Amazing Grazers has built a reputation for creating luxurious grazing platters that showcase the best of local produce. The business was born from Tania’s deep-rooted passion for cheese and charcuterie, which was influenced by her European heritage. Amazing Grazers’ philosophy is to source high-quality ingredients in substantial quantities, present them beautifully, and share them generously, drawing from international traditions that celebrate communal eating.

The introduction of this pop-up reflects a broader trend towards personalised dining experiences, where the customers’ preferences are paramount. It’s an opportunity for food enthusiasts to experiment and enjoy their creations in a welcoming, stylish environment. This approach also supports local producers by featuring their products.

The pop up launches this week!
