Adelaide will play host to the first Chalk Paint™ by Annie Sloan workshops this month as Barossa based design consultant and local stockist conducts two pop-up workshop events in the inner city.
More than just paint, the popular Chalk Paint TM by Annie Sloan decorative technique has a strong following in South Australia and internationally because of its versatility, ease of use, velvety matte finish and gorgeous colour palette inspired by design through the centuries.
Workshop convener is SA stockist Kim Valois of Brocante in the Barossa. Kim provides design advice and conducts creative workshops in her Angaston studio but this is the first time her workshops have been offered in Adelaide.
The Adelaide Pop Up Workshops each offer two hours of creative fun. All are hands on sessions with some offering more technique in paintwork and waxes or in finishes such as cracking, guilding, stencilling and image transfer. In the Wine & Sign session create a beautiful decorative sign for your home, have some fun with Chalk Paint TM and enjoy a glass of local South Australian Wine.
