This November, Adelaide is going to get a taste of la dolce vita as the city’s first ever Italian Dance Music Festival rolls into town. As part of the Adelaide Italian Festival, Ciao Ragazzi is bringing all things music, food, and the best of Italian style to Morphettville Racecourse for just one day only.
From 2pm to 11:30pm on Sunday, November 16th, DJs direct from Italy will lead the charge. A-Clark and Vinny, the pioneers of Italian Afro House will take over the stage, setting the atmosphere.
The Feed Your Soul SA event organiser shared, “I’ve wanted to do something good for Adelaide in terms of modernising Italian music. I came across two boys from Sicily, A-Clark and Vinny, on Instagram over a year ago. I started following them, really liked what they were doing, and they’ve got a massive following. They’re the two hottest DJs out of Italy right now.”
This duo has been making waves across Europe’s summer festival circuit, have more than 200 million views on TikTok and Instagram, and their sunset remixes of Mina, Vasco Rossi, Laura Pausini and more have been shared by Serie A, AC Milan, Juventus, MTV, Vanity Fair and beyond.
Joining them on the decks are some of Australia’s finest Italian DJs, including Danilo from Sydney, DJ Pauly, Marc Pellegrini, and DJ Morena all from Melbourne, Adelaide local Louis F and the Italian Mcs who are MCs for the day. These guys are sure to be keeping the crowd moving from afternoon until well after sunset.
“I’ve tried to get the best of the best here in Australia. We’ve got Australia’s number one Italian DJ, Danilo, from Sydney. He’s been to Adelaide before, and has a huge following across Australia and internationally, he’s doing really well.
“What’s great is that these DJs are remixing old Italian classics from the 30s, 40s, 50s and 60s, and modernising them with house beats. The young Italians love it, it’s got a great feel and vibe.”
In addition to the music, Ciao Ragazzi will be a full-blown cultural festival. There’s going to be a huge mix of Italian street food, luxury car showcases, roaming performers showcasing Italian Culture, and screens pumping visuals that celebrate the spirit of Italy.
“We’ve partnered with Zeppole & Co, Cannoli Box Co. and Gelato Bello. Martini Catering will be handling the pasta and pizza from Di Luggo and Co. Ambra Spirits are coming with their Limoncello, and Cibo Espresso will be there for coffee.”
There will also be a lineup of fantastic Italian cars like Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Alfa Romeos, and Fiats, all brought to you 24K Luxury Events .
Whether you’re Italian by blood, or simply by heart, this is an event for all. Imagine an Aperol spritz in hand, the smell of pizza and pasta filling the air, and thousands of partygoers dressed in the colours of the Italian flag, all backed by world-class house and dance music.
The team says there will be a main stage decorated with all things green, white and red. Plus, five big screens that will transport you straight to scenes of Italy.
“When people walk in, they’ll feel like they’ve stepped into Italy. The DJs will keep that energy flowing, and when the boys from Sicily hit the stage it’s going to another level. They’ve just finished a 35-city European tour, and this is their first time in Australia. They’re so excited.”
