Flour will be sure to fly as Adelaide’s celebrity mums and their kids battle it out for The Women and Children’s Hospital Foundation’s  “Great Celebrity Scone-Off” this weekend, which officially launches the Foundation’s ‘Mother’s May’ campaign.

Hosted by the Foundation’s ambassador Belinda Heggen, the Scone-off will see celebrity teams of mother and child/children take to the kitchen to create the fluffiest and most mouth-watering scones, including paralympian, Katrina Webb, Seven News presenter and reporter, Jessica Adamson and SA Premier, Jay Weatherill’s wife, Melissa Bailey, with help from their kids.

Adding to the festivities over the weekend, there will be face painting, balloon twisting, colouring-in stations, and other creative kids activities to help celebrate the Mother’s May Campaign launch.

The Campaign is a major fundraiser  for the WCH Foundation, helping raising much-‐needed funds for the ‘Kids FUNd’ which will help the Foundation purchase arts and crafts vital for play distraction therapy for sick children at the WCH, helping them feel a little more at home.

The scone-off is at 2-3pm this Saturday at IKEA.
