Adelaide’s newest CBD beer garden, Beags, is open

Beags is Adelaide newest inner city beer garden opening this year in Light Square.

Visitors can expect live acoustic performances and DJs, a diverse menu from cheeseboards to burgers, and beer and wine from some of South Australia’s best local producers. 

On Thursdays the bar offers a $20 beer and burger deal. Beags burgers come with a not one, but two house made patties. Beags also offer a vegan option, the Vegas Burger. The Vegas Burger comes with two house made vegan patties topped with rocket, onion, pickles and tomato – and of course a beer!

Bringing weekends to life in the Square, Beags works in conjunction with The Lab to put on live music and light shows on for patrons.

The Lab is located outside Beags and describes itself as ‘a multi-functional and multi-genre performance space supporting art and culture’. The Lab has parallel opening hours to Beags, so theres always something on for customers!

Beags source their beer from The Sparkke Change Brewing Company. The Company is owned and operated by a group of young Adelaide based women. Sparkke Change helps to raise funds and awareness for important social issues. The Sparkke Change Brewing Company have managed to achieve carbon zero in their practices.

The Sparkke Change Brewing Company has released two new spirits, Lemon Flower Gin and Spirit Of Oak & Malt, to celebrate the beginning of spring.

Beags are open 5pm til late on Wednesday to Saturday each week.
