Funlab, the creative force behind the popular Holey Moley Adelaide, is set to redefine entertainment in South Australia with its newest venture in Rundle Place.  

The space is launching on November 30th and is primed to become the go-to destination for corporate functions and Christmas parties in Adelaide this year.  

The entertainment precinct will be a combination of three iconic Funlab venues: Hijinx Hotel, Strike Bowling, and Archie Brothers Cirque Electriq, all making their South Australian debut.  

This dynamic precinct promises endless hours of competitive socialising fun, all conveniently located under one roof. 

Hijinx Hotel is first on the list, it’s a place where you play, don’t stay. This unique accommodation experience blends the quirkiness of a New York hotel with the enchantment of Willy Wonka’s factory, creating an unforgettable atmosphere. 

Guests will be the first in South Australia to experience quick-play immersive rooms that merge theatre, wonder, and challenges within ten creatively designed hotel rooms. 

Each room offers a nostalgic journey, designed for groups of two to six players, where teamwork is crucial to conquer challenges within a four-minute window. From Adore-a-ball Pool to Scrambled, Poke the Dots, Candy Ball Pool, and the exclusive Adelaide room, Who Said That? 

For events, the Penthouse Package at Hijinx Hotel includes 10 challenge rooms for your event, a range of snacks and pizzas as well as a reserved area and a drink on arrival! Or upgrade and take things to a Presidential suite level and they will add in a 2 hour beverage package and even more delicious finger food for your event to really impress your guests. 

The best part about Funlab events? They can plan, prep, cook and clean – so you can get back to your team and give them an event they’ll actually enjoy, tenfold (or ten-pin). 

There’s packages for all budgets in all three venues, so you can have all the fun under one roof. 

If you want a more traditional “arcade” experience, Archie Brothers Cirque Electriq has traditional arcade games, dodgem cars and virtual reality. With games like Connect 4 hoops, Mario Kart, and the new Bop It Arcade, there’s no shortage of fun.  

The bar at Archie Brothers offers imaginative cocktails and iconic loaded shakes that are both visually stunning and delicious. Whether you’re sipping on a boozy strawberry shake like the Candy Stand or embarking on a cocktail flavour adventure with the Pop Til You Drop, you’re in for a sensory treat. 

If you’re looking to have your Christmas function there, you can get The Top Hat package which gives your guests 1 hour circus access, mixed pizzas and snacks, a delightful 2-hour beverage package and your own Party Host and reserved area. 

If bowling is more up your alley (get it?) then Strike Bowling can organise a package that includes a game of bowling each, delicious pizza to share as well as a choice of fries or corn ribs as well as a beverage package. You also get your own reserved area and dedicated party host.
