Adelaide’s Own Power Ranger To Feature At US Convention

Adelaide’s own Adam Tuominen played Hunter Bradley (Crimson Thunder Ranger) in Power Rangers Ninja Storm, and he’s heading off on a Power Rangers world tour!

For anyone who grew up thinking that they’d know Clark Kent in the street if they saw him, despite his flimsy disguise, think again. I thought the same thing, but we’ve had a Power Ranger living in Adelaide, right under our noses and I HAD NO IDEA. I feel deeply ashamed by this, but luckily, it’s never too late to fan-girl, so here I am, ready to roll.

Adelaide’s own Adam Tuominen played Hunter Bradley (Crimson Thunder Ranger) in Power Rangers Ninja Storm (2003 Disney series). He’s also got a raft of other impressive accolades under his acting belt if you care to google him, including Underbelly: Razor, but let’s get back to the important stuff.

POWER RANGERS.

If you need a recap of his mad skills, watch the fabulous fan-made video compilation (tribute) at the top of the page. I’m not sure if I loved his hair, his ninja moves or that red motorcycle the most.

Despite the fact that Power Rangers have had 20 series of the American version so far, including Adams’ Ninja Storm series, it seems the world CAN NOT GET ENOUGH of this team of superheroes who are always ready to take on any villains.

And we are totally on board with this mania.

So when we found out that there’s actually a dedicated US Power Ranger Convention happening in August, and Adam was invited to attend as a guest – well, we’re as proud as we were that time, when the Thunder Rangers and the Wind Rangers came together to form the Thunderstorm Megazord.

It’s actually one of the biggest Power Rangers conventions in the world – the bi-annual Power Morphicon, in Anaheim LA, from August 18th to 19th this year. It’s also the 25th anniversary of when Power Rangers first started. Adam will be attending with three others from his series.

He’s also a special guest at the Anime Convention Orlando in the beginning of August.
To top off his world tour, he also attending two more in the UK in November!
Talk about doing it for the fans!
You can follow Adam along on his adventures and support this fantastic SA actor on his Facebook page, and Instagram account.
And if you want to re-live the magic, the entire Power Rangers Ninja Storm series Adam was in is on Netflix. Enjoy!
