Ok, you cheeky little squirrels, it’s time to plan some more backyard shenanigans. The sunshine is upon us, the pins need a bit of a tan, so whip out the short shorts for Adelaide’s own touring-folk-fest, and get some wine and tunes into your life.
The Porch Sessions, for those uninitiated, are a touring collective of concerts hosted in some of the most spectacular back yards in Adelaide, and you’ll want to be a part of their fourth season. These are the hot ticket, and usually sell out in a couple of hours of the shows going on sale, so this forewarning should ensure you’re not on the long list of names wiping tears from their eyes having missed this news.
Everything will be revealed at 6pm tonight, but we’ve seen the names… and it’s going to be beast of a season, seeing international headliners and the best up and comers in Australian music, a fresh batch of porch decorations, new collaborations with some legendary local and global businesses and of course, the porches themselves are among the most wonderful in all the land.
Their first show of a forecasted 8 shows is to take place on Nov 27, with an international headline, one interstate support and one local support in the most idyllic garden in Hawthorn. Tickets and the line up of this show will be released Monday September 26 at 6pm.
