Adelaide’s much-loved CheeseFest is back, bringing a delicious line-up of cheese, wine, and foodie fun to Rundle Park this October 19th and 20th.
Whether you’re a cheese connoisseur or simply a lover of all things tasty, this festival is a must-visit. Think over 80 stalls overflowing with South Australia’s finest cheeses, mouthwatering food producers, and top-notch beverages. Plus, with celebrity food writer Matt Preston returning for his fifth CheeseFest, you know it’s going to be good!
Prepare your taste buds for an explosion of flavour as you wander through dozens of stalls overflowing with the best cheeses the state has to offer. From creamy bries to sharp cheddars and everything in between, there’s something to satisfy every palate. You’ll also find a range of other delectable treats, from gourmet food producers to top-notch beverages, ensuring a truly unforgettable culinary experience.
One of the highlights of CheeseFest is the opportunity to learn from the experts. Celebrity food writer Matt Preston, is returning again, to share his insights and passion for cheese. You can also join masterclasses led by renowned chefs and producers like Warren Mendes, Callum Hann, and Gaetan Chapon, where you’ll discover the secrets of cheesemaking and perfect pairings.
The RAA Masterclass pavilion is back after a year’s hiatus, offering a series of expert-led sessions on cheese and wine pairing. Don’t miss the chance to learn from some of the top minds in the industry, including Munda Wines’ First Nations winemaker, Paul Vandenbergh, whose unique perspective on winemaking is sure to inspire.
CheeseFest is also embracing international flavours this year, welcoming New Zealand producer Kiwi Artisan to the festival for the first time. You’ll find a wide variety of cheeses from across Australia and beyond, including popular names like Barossa Valley Cheese Company, Udder Delights, and Long Paddock Cheese. And for those following a plant-based diet, two vegan cheesemakers will be making their debut appearance, showcasing their delicious dairy-free creations.
When hunger strikes, head to the food stalls for a range of tempting options. From the iconic Anchovy Bandit to indulgent Loaded Mac and Cheese, there’s something to satisfy every craving. And don’t forget to pair your cheesy delights with a refreshing beverage from the likes of 23rd St Distillery, Swell Brewing, or Woodstock Wines.
New this year, CheeseFest is introducing ‘cheese cloakrooms’ – large fridges where you can store your cheese purchases while you continue to enjoy the festival. No more lugging around heavy bags!
