Tonight, 399 travellers, who have been in mandatory Government quarantine at the Pullman for two weeks, will spend their evening in isolation – with a twist.

The 5-star hotel, situated in Hindmarsh Square, is putting on a show for the captive audience, with none other than Adelaide’s own superstar accordionist and cabaret-wonder, Hans.

Boozier than Oktoberfest, more drive than a Volkswagen and with more sausage than a bratwurst convention. Hans is Germany’s proudest export and a total showman who works the crowd like the well-seasoned comedian, singer, dancer, musician and entertainer he is.

Guests will be able to enjoy the show from their balconies, or watch the live stream from Hans’ Facebook page, as the performer puts on a show with his band and dancers out the front of the Pullman.

Many of the guests will be celebrating the completion of their mandatory isolation tonight, with 376 guests checking out of the hotel tomorrow.

Pullman Adelaide General Manager, Llewellyn Wyeth, said: “We are doing everything we can to make sure our guests have a comfortable and pleasant stay with us, despite being confined to their rooms. Our team remain focused on providing a great guest service. After all, taking care of others is at the very heart of what we do every day.”

Accor Chief Operating Officer Pacific, Simon McGrath, said: “The team at Pullman Adelaide delivered a great experience for their guests. They are not only providing accommodation, but also pastoral care and kindness. I couldn’t be more proud of our incredible team.”

The evening performance will be paired with a meal 3 course meal so guests could celebrate the end of isolation.

The hotel team have also delivered many other acts of kindness to their guests, for example:

· During the past few weeks, 18 guests in isolation have celebrated their birthdays with a special Pullman baked birthday cake.

· A couple celebrated their 1st wedding anniversary while in quarantine. To mark this milestone occasion the team provided them with a big bouquet of flowers.

· A Personal Trainer and Yoga instructor filmed 15min workouts from within a room so guests could use their surroundings, keeping physically and mentally fit with in-room exercise.

Pullman Adelaide is one of several Accor properties playing an essential role in the Federal Government directive to house incoming international arrivals for a mandatory 14-day quarantine period, before they go back into our communities.

The hotels are working with health authorities and are following their advice on how best to take measures to protect the safety of team members and guests.
