In true Summer form, an afternoon thunderstorm hit South Australia yesterday, bringing with it a significant amount of thunder and lightning while the sun went down. The resulting photos are breathtaking, with Matthew Symons delivering an incredible rural storm shot through the golden haze, Ben Heide taking a break from his usual landscape shots to capture that looks more at home in a Sci Fi movie, and David Oliver from Whyalla, snapping a daylight lightning shot from the side of the road. Whether you like storms or sunsets, you’ll love these photos. Just beautiful.
