This December, Bombay Sapphire proudly presents the first ever four-day summer festival on Peel Street, bringing together some of Adelaide’s best small bars. The perfect Gin and Tonic will pair Bombay Sapphire and Fever-Tree Mediterranean Tonic which will be available across the four days at the hero outdoor bar as well as the ten participating venues on Peel Street.

In a collaboration between Bombay Sapphire and all Peel Street venues, visitors can expect to see the famous laneway completely transformed into a botanical wonderland. In addition to the perfect Gin and Tonic, all ten bars have created an individual cocktail, highlighting one of the ten botanicals found in Bombay Sapphire.

The iconic Bombay Blue will be reflected across all of the outdoor activations and the gin highlighted in exciting new cocktails created by the venues.

Launching on Thursday, 12th December, the Peel Street Festival will feature four-nights of artistic entertainment and cocktails including live bands, pop-up bars and local artists producing live murals and art pieces along the street.

“We have been working closely with the Peel Street precinct to create a unique and exciting street party which highlights one of most iconic products in our portfolio, Bombay Sapphire gin,” says Peter Hollands, Bombay Sapphire National Brand Ambassador

“The festival will be immersive and interactive; we want people to expect the unexpected and release their creativity! The art activations are a reflection of the craft and skills required in cocktail making, our pop-up Bombay Sapphire bar even features a paint activation with edible paint used to create the gin and tonic.”

The Peel Street Festival brings together all Peel Street venues including Peel Street Restaurant who are catering the outdoor festival.

“We want visitors to treat the Peel Street precinct as a single venue and bar hop around the area, enjoying a range of unique and expertly created cocktails,” says Scott Quick, Owner of Alfred’s Bar and Malt and Juniper.

“The Peel Street Festival is an exciting opportunity for the bar owners to create a community feel and encourage visitation to the laneway and the extensive selection of bars situated here.”

Visitors also have the chance to win a $500 bar tab from one of the participating venues simply by voting for their favourite three cocktails via a QR code which will feature on the cocktail menu.

The Peel Street Festival will run from Thursday 12th December until Sunday 15th December from 4pm until late.
