Adelaide’s weather forecast for Monday 29th July

Adelaide is in for a mostly sunny day today, but don’t expect much warmth. BOM has issued a frost warning for the Mount Lofty Ranges, Mid North, Riverland, Murraylands, Upper South East, and Lower South East.

Adelaide is in for a mostly sunny day today, but don’t expect much warmth – the city will reach a chilly top of 15 degrees and drop to a frosty low of 4 degrees.

In nearby towns, Stirling is expecting an icy top of 11 degrees, while Nuriootpa and Mount Barker will see a slightly warmer high of 13 degrees.

Mount Gambier, Naracoorte, and Coonawarra are all expecting tops of 14 degrees. Port Augusta and Elliston are in for a bit more warmth with tops of 17 degrees, and Ceduna will see an even warmer top of 18 degrees.

BOM has issued a frost warning for the Mount Lofty Ranges, Mid North, Riverland, Murraylands, Upper South East, and Lower South East. Temperatures at ground level could be significantly lower than those recorded by weather stations, particularly under calm, clear conditions.

Severe frosts, with temperatures as low as -4 degrees expected this morning in parts of the Riverland, Murraylands, Upper South East, and Lower South East, which may cause substantial crop damage. Frosts down to -2 degrees are forecast for parts of the Mount Lofty Ranges and Mid North.

BOM has also warned Sheep Graziers in the Flinders and North West Pastoral districts of cold temperatures and northeasterly winds expected on Monday.

Taking a look over to our friends interstate, Melbourne is expecting showers and a chilly high of 12 degrees. Sydney may see a late shower, but will be warmer with a high of 16 degrees. Brisbane will enjoy sunny skies with a warm top of 21 degrees, while Perth is expecting a shower or two with a high of 20 degrees.

Looking ahead to the weekend, Adelaide will see highs of 15 degrees on both Saturday and Sunday, with lows of 8 and 7 degrees respectively. Expect some rain with a medium chance of showers both days.
