Adelaide’s weather forecast for Monday February 17th and the week ahead

Adelaide can look forward to a string of sunny days, as detailed in the latest weather forecasts by the Bureau of Meteorology.

Adelaide can look forward to a string of sunny days, as detailed in the latest weather forecasts by the Bureau of Meteorology. Although temperatures may change a bit, the city will mostly stay sunny with very little chance of rain.

For the remainder of Monday, Adelaide is set to experience mostly sunny skies with temperatures reaching up to 29 degrees and a dropping to a low of 13 degrees. Winds will be light, starting from the east-northeast at 15 to 25 km/h, changing to northwest at midday, and then becoming southeast to southwest in the evening.

Heading into Tuesday, Adelaide will have clear skies and plenty of sunshine. The temperature will reach a high of 28 degrees, with a cool start at 14 degrees in the morning. Winds will be steady from the south to southeast at 20 to 30 km/h, making it a great day for outdoor activities.

Wednesday will be similar to Tuesday, with a high of 27 degrees after a cool start at 13 degrees in the morning. The weather will be mostly sunny, with southeasterly winds at 20 to 30 km/h.

The weather in South Australia will be a bit different across the region. A high pressure system south of Kangaroo Island is affecting the weather, creating a broad ridge over the state. This high pressure will gradually move east, while a low pressure system from Western Australia slowly makes its way toward South Australia.

On Monday, most of South Australia will stay dry, but there could be some showers and thunderstorms near the western border. Winds will be from the southeast to northeast, with local sea breezes along the coast.

On Tuesday, there could be isolated showers and strong thunderstorms in the far west, with some heavy rainfall possible. Light showers may also appear around Kangaroo Island, the Fleurieu Peninsula, and the Lower South East, especially near the southern coasts. Winds will mainly come from the southeast to east, with fresh sea breezes along the coast in the afternoon and evening.

Wednesday will be mostly dry across the region, with only a few light showers expected near the southern coasts. The eastern central areas might have cooler temperatures, while the western parts will be warmer than usual.
