Adelaide’s weather forecast for Saturday February 15th and the days ahead

Adelaide can expect mixed weather conditions this weekend, according to the latest updates from the Bureau of Meteorology.

Adelaide can expect mixed weather conditions this weekend, according to the latest updates from the Bureau of Meteorology. Saturday will see cloudy conditions with a slight chance of a shower in the morning. A strong wind warning has been issued for the Lower South East Coast, with southerly winds expected to range from 25 to 35 km/h. The maximum temperature for the day is forecasted at 23 degrees with a low of 15.

Moving into Sunday, the city should see warmer temperatures. It’s set to be partly cloudy skies with minimal chance of rain, capped at 5%. Southeasterly winds will prevail throughout the day, ranging from 15 to 25 km/h. The temperature is set to rise slightly, with a high of up to 25 degrees in the afternoon and a low of 13.

The weather on Monday will be mostly sunny throughout the day with zero predicted chance of rain. Temperatures are expected to reach up to 29 degrees with a low of 13. Wind patterns will see a shift, starting from the east to southeasterly at 15 to 25 km/h in the morning, then tending to the southeast to southwesterly during the afternoon.

The wider weather situation across South Australia is driven by a broad high-pressure system currently positioned south of Western Australia. The system is progressing eastward, expected to lie south of the Bight by Saturday, with a broad southeasterly airflow across the state. By Monday, this high is anticipated to move through the Bass Strait, weakening in effect.

A strong wind warning will influence sea conditions along the Lower South East Coast throughout Saturday. The winds, described as fresh to strong from the southwest to southerly across the eastern and southern regions, are likely to be gusty near southern coasts and will turn from the south to southeast in the western parts of the state.

Dry conditions will dominate on Sunday, with temperatures maintained below average, particularly in the eastern regions. Fresh southeasterly to easterly winds are forecasted to pick up near the coasts during the afternoon and evening.

Looking to the start of next week, Monday may see possible showers in the far west with a slight chance of thunderstorms along the western border. While temperatures in the east are expected to register slightly below average, those in the far west could climb slightly above the average. Winds will predominantly be from the southeast to east, freshening near the coasts and turning northeasterly in the far west during the afternoon.
