Winds will be light at first, coming from the northwest to northeasterly at 15 to 20 km/h. By midday, expect them to shift southeast to southwesterly, then becoming southeasterly as the day draws to a close.

BOM has issued a Severe Heatwave Warning for the North West Pastoral District, which is active from Wednesday December 4th to Friday December 6th.

Across the state, conditions are looking pretty hot. In Mount Barker, temperatures will reach 37 degrees with mostly sunny weather throughout the day. Naracoorte will also see 37 degrees, under clear, sunny skies. Renmark is expected to be very hot today with a scorching 39 degrees, under full sunshine. While Port Lincoln will be cooler at 33 degrees, though there’s a chance of a shower or thunderstorm later in the day.

Looking at the rest of the country, Sydney will be partly cloudy with a high of 25 degrees and a low of 19 degrees. Melbourne will enjoy sunny skies, with temperatures reaching 31 degrees and dipping to 14 degrees. Brisbane is forecast to have a shower or two, with a high of 29 degrees and a low of 23 degrees. While in Perth, the weather will be sunny, with a top of 26 degrees and a low of 13 degrees.

Tomorrow, it’ll be slightly cooler in Adelaide, with temperatures topping out at 33 degrees, but the city may experience a shower or two, and there is a possibility of a thunderstorm. As for the weekend, temperatures will drop a little. On Saturday, Adelaide will reach a top of 27 degrees, with a chance of showers. Sunday will be cooler, with a top of 26 degrees, and no rain expected.
