We’re expecting cloudy skies and a medium chance of showers, but those showers are becoming less likely as we head into the late morning. There’s also a possibility of a thunderstorm this morning, so keep an eye on the weather.

Across South Australia, we’re seeing some warm temperatures. Nuriootpa in the Mount Lofty Ranges will hit 30 degrees, Murray Bridge in the Murraylands will reach 32 degrees, Renmark in the Riverland will be a scorching 34 degrees, and Waikerie is expected to peak at 35 degrees.

There’s an updated Marine Wind Warning Summary for SA. BOM has issued a Strong Wind Warning for the Spencer Gulf, but the warning has been cancelled for the South Central Coast, Gulf St Vincent, Investigator Strait, Upper South East Coast, and Lower South East Coast. A Strong Wind Warning for the Lower South East Coast has been issued for tomorrow, Friday, September 6th.

Across the country, Sydney will enjoy a sunny day with a high of 29 degrees and a low of 13 degrees. Brisbane will be partly cloudy with a top of 25 degrees and a low of 13 degrees. Perth will see cooler temperatures with a high of 16 degrees, showers, and a low of 10 degrees. And Melbourne will experience a top of 22 degrees with a shower or two, and a low of 15 degrees.

Looking ahead to the weekend, Adelaide is for some cooler temperatures with tops of 18 degrees on both Saturday and Sunday, with a low of 10 and 11 degrees respectively. It’ll be party cloudy across the weekend, with a high chance of showers on Sunday.
