Adelaide will see a mostly sunny day today with a top of 26 degrees and a low of 15. There’s a slight chance of a shower, with light winds shifting westerly at 15 to 25 km/h during the middle of the day, before becoming southwesterly at 20 to 30 km/h in the early afternoon. BOM has issued a Strong Wind Warning for the Spencer Gulf.
Looking around the state, Nuriootpa in the Mount Lofty Ranges will reach 27 degrees, with a possible shower. Kadina on the Yorke Peninsula will enjoy a sunny 26 degrees. Over in Naracoorte in the Lower South East, expect a couple of showers and a high of 27 degrees. And in Murray Bridge, there’s also a slight chance of a shower with a warm top of 29 degrees.
Across the rest of the country, Sydney will see a top of 24 degrees with a low of 18, and a couple of showers. Melbourne will be a bit cooler, with a high of 25 and some showers, while Brisbane is heating up to 30 degrees, though a storm could be brewing. Perth will see a top of 25 degrees with cloud clearing, and a low of 12.
As we look ahead to the rest of the week, Adelaide’s temperatures will stay mild on Wednesday and Thursday, with tops of 23 degrees. Friday will warm up to 28 degrees, and then Saturday will be the hot one, reaching a scorching 36 degrees. Sunday will cool down slightly to 28 degrees, with some rain on the way.
