Adelaide will see a cooler, partly cloudy day today, with temperatures reaching a top of 23 degrees and a low of 13 degrees. There is a slight chance of a morning shower, particularly in the early hours, but conditions should remain dry for the most part. Winds will be southwesterly at 20 to 30 km/h, turning southerly later in the evening with speeds of 15 to 25 km/h. At this stage, there are no weather warnings in place.
Across the state, Mount Barker in the Mount Lofty Ranges will see a possible morning shower, with a top temperature of 21 degrees. Mount Gambier in the Lower South East is expected to experience a shower or two, with a max of 19 degrees. Murray Bridge in the Murraylands will have a partly cloudy day, reaching 23 degrees, while Cummins on the Lower Eyre Peninsula will see partly cloudy skies and a warmer top of 25 degrees.
Looking further across the country, Sydney will see a few showers, with temperatures reaching 25 degrees and a low of 18 degrees. Melbourne will experience showers throughout the day, with a top of 20 degrees and a low of 16 degrees. Brisbane is in for a humid day, with showers and storms developing, a top of 30 degrees, and a low of 22 degrees. While Perth will enjoy sunny, clear skies, with temperatures soaring to 31 degrees and a low of 13 degrees.
The weather has changed a bit heading into the weekend. On Saturday, we’re now expecting a hot top of 34 degrees, with a chance of a shower or two developing later in the day. By Sunday, Adelaide will cool down to 21 degrees, with another possible shower in the forecast.
