Adelaide is in for a partly cloudy day with a good chance of some showers, most likely in the morning and afternoon. Don’t be surprised if you get hit by a few raindrops, according to the Bureau of Meteorology, there’s a 50% chance we’ll see some light showers, with rainfall expected to be between 0 to 1 mm. Winds will be coming from the southwest at 20 to 30 km/h, switching to southerly in the early afternoon, and then tapering off to light breezes by evening.
Prepare for a beautiful sunny day tomorrow with a maximum temperature of 19°C. The winds will be a bit lighter, coming from the southeasterly direction at 15 to 20 km/h, and then easing off as the day goes on. There’s no rain expected, so it’s a great day to leave the umbrella at home.
The high-pressure system hanging over South Australia will keep things mostly calm until the weekend, though there are some showers and thunderstorms expected in the far northwest today. Temperatures will be a bit of a mixed bag with above-average warmth in the northeast but cooler elsewhere.
Frosts are forecast for the morning in parts of the Murraylands and Upper South East forecast districts. Temperatures are due to be much lower than what’s recorded at weather stations, especially in calm conditions with clear skies.
Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures and southeasterly winds are expected to affect parts of the Flinders forecast district. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.
