Adelaidian powerhouse Celeste Dixon is back for the third season of Australian Ninja Warrior, and she’s bringing Australia’s favourite Dad with her.

After becoming one of only six women to make it up the Warped Wall in the 2018 heats, the barista turned crowd favourite Ninja Warrior is back for round three.

Celeste is a former aerial gymnast who made the Olympic Squad, she feels as though she has found her calling in the Ninja Warriors.

“It’s such a welcoming community,” says Celeste, “and it’s the biggest adrenaline rush as an individual.”

This year’s Australian Ninja Warrior course is more challenging than ever, so she prepared for it by building half the course in her backyard.

“Everything is bigger, and I thought it was big before,” says Celeste.

“The obstacles are so much harder. They’ve definitely stepped it up a level this year.”

Last year Celeste became an ambassador for the Premier’s Be Active Challenge and visits schools all around South Australia encouraging kids to get up and get active.

Her aim is to “make them realise that exercise isn’t a chore, it can be fun.”

Celeste loves being a ninja warrior so much that she can’t wait to do it all again.

“I’d love to come back for season four!”

You can catch Celeste on Australian Ninja Warrior 7pm Sunday, 7.30pm Monday – Tuesday, on Nine, or on demand here.
