AFF Runway Heads To Barossa Winery For Incredible Showcase

The best looks from the Adelaide Fashion Festival’s South Australian designers will be showcased at the Rural Runway in the Barossa.

Adelaide Fashion Festival presented by Mercedes-Benz Adelaide is the hottest ticket in town this October with shows selling out within days. Now the best looks from the Festival’s South Australian designers will also be showcased at the Rural Runway, giving festival-goers an added opportunity to support local fashion.

As two of Adelaide Fashion Festival’s (AFF) most popular runways near selling out, the best looks from the exclusively South Australian Couture Culture and Contemporary vs. Street shows will make their way to Seppeltsfield in the Barossa for a spectacular afternoon celebrating the State’s finest talent.

The Rural Runway show is the first event the AFF has held in regional South Australia. The event was announced at the AFF program launch in August, as an opportunity to showcase the food, wine, and fashion in the local area. Local boutiques will produce the first runway of the day, highlight spring/summer trends for the months ahead.

The addition of the South Australian showcase will offer new season looks from brands including Acler (as worn by Beyoncé) and Alpha Be, and stunning couture designs from Couture+Love+Madness and more. It is the first time such a compelling collection of local designs have been seen outside of Adelaide, and will give anyone who missed out on tickets to the AFF runways to enjoy an enriched South Australian experience.

The event includes a five-course lunch prepared by award-winning chef, Owen Andrews, and Seppeltsfield wines to match the incredible regional produce. Models from AZALEA Models will walk the runway, dressed in the latest styles from the best boutiques of the Barossa Valley – including Lola + Lilly, Primp Style Co, Pulp + Thread, Living By Design, Alabaster, Barossa Home Living, A Time For Seasons and JamFactory at 1pm, and the Best of Couture Culture and Contemporary vs Street will show at 3pm.

Both shows are included in the ticket price; as well as the bespoke lunch, wine, and return transport from the Adelaide CBD. Tickets are available as a table of six, so guests are encouraged to get their friends, clients and guests together for a fun day of fashion, food and wine!
