They say a smooth sea never made a skilled sailor — but a smooth Sailor Jerry has always made us very happy. And the news of a garden bar dedicated to the spiced rum has made our day.
The Sailor Jerry Garden Bar will set up shop at The Holdy, starting this Sunday, 10 February and staying for the next three months or so.
For the launch of the pop-up bar, you can expect live acoustic tunes by All About Her duo from midday, followed by plenty of funky tunes, and delicious bites from The Holdy’s new menu — we’re talking bedrock pork ribs, a local seafood platter, and a brand spankin’ new desserts menu.
The Holdy will also host a barber during the afternoon of the launch, so you can get a fresh cut while dining on fresh seafood and fresher cocktails.
Over the three months of the pop-up, you can enjoy Sailor Jerry cocktail specials with themed cocktails over the period. Sailor Jerry will also be $6 over the three months!
If you’ve never been much of a rum person, maybe now is the time to give it a chance! No place to learn to drink like a sailor than at the ocean-themed, much-loved Holdy.
