Rundle Street is rapidly becoming the style mecca for Adelaide and it is about to grow this May with the opening of Alannah Hill’s first South Australian boutique.
Hill is known for her exquisite and feminine designs which is set to transcend through the design of her boutique. Designer David Hicks has restored the 19th century building to its former beauty and set the tone with vintage Italian murano chandeliers with feather shaped fronds hanging from the almost 5 meter high ceilings.
The dressing rooms are set to be the most glamorous in Adelaide with floor to ceiling Hollywood lights and pink silk wallpaper accentuated with crystal flower wall lights and vintage wall hooks.
“The Interior of my stores is so important to me. I am always on the look out for ideas that reflect my girly whimsical clothing. Ideally I like to create a little magical world where customers feel excited, charmed and loved.” – Alannah Hill
