ALDI Australia launches ALDI Holidays for budget escapes, cruises and tour deal packages

ALDI Australia has ventured into travel with ALDI Holidays, offering budget-friendly packages to destinations like Fiji, Hawaii, and Europe.

ALDI Australia has announced an innovative venture into the travel market with the launch of ALDI Holidays, an online portal that will allow Australian shoppers to book exclusive holiday packages. Starting from today, Wednesday October 2nd, this service is set to include a range of options such as escapes, cruises, and tours with competitively priced packages.

ALDI Holidays is partnering with the experienced travel group, Ignite Travel, to bring a selection of leisure and luxury travel options. Packages start as low as $449 per person, with destinations including Surfers Paradise, The Whitsundays, Fiji, Thailand, Hawaii, and more exotic locations such as South Africa, Europe, and China.

Rodney Balech, Group Director, ALDI Australia, shared the company’s vision for this new service. “We are excited to be taking off in a new direction to make planning and booking a holiday a more enjoyable experience for Australians and in our signature, Good Different way with ALDI Holidays. This service, in partnership with Ignite Travel, will unlock incredible value and help all types of travellers create truly unforgettable experiences,” he stated.

Ryan Thomas, CEO of Ignite Travel Group, outlined the benefits of this partnership. “We are excited to partner with ALDI to bring a range of leisure and luxury travel options to more Australians launching at a great time when travel continues to boom. Domestic and close to home holidays are still desirable and we’re now seeing record numbers for international cruise holidays and small group touring,” he said.

Thomas added, “ALDI Holiday customers can expect incredible savings with these exclusively curated holiday packages including flights, local experiences and more, covering some of the most popular destinations around the world, that can conveniently be booked online or via the dedicated ALDI Holidays Sales Centre.”

ALDI will maintain its commitment to value, mirroring its approach with the Special Buys program, by offering these travel deals until sold out. The options include stays at premium locations such as Daydream Island Resort in the Whitsundays and Iririki Island Resort & Spa in Vanuatu.

For those leaning towards international travel, packages like the 6 nights stay at the Waikiki Beach Marriott in Hawaii and the 10 Day Best of South Africa tour are worth a mention.
