Adelaide Italian Festival’s newest signature event, Autoclassica, an all-Italian car and motorbike show, is set to take over the Torrens Parade Ground for one day only this November.
Kicking off at 10am on Sunday 20 November, visitors of all ages will be able to view a range of Italian motor vehicles, having the opportunity to get up close and personal with some of their favourite models.
Autoclassica will also be honouring the 65th anniversary of the Fiat 500 by displaying various models of the classic Italian car from across the years.
After the overwhelming interest and success of last year’s event, festival Chairman, Ben Rillo, is excited to present the event for its second year and promises that it will be bigger and better, and is calling on anyone who has an Italian vehicle to participate and place it on display.
“The event was a great success last year and we are expecting over 100 vehicles to be on display for the public to enjoy,” said Ben.
“We are encouraging anyone who has an Italian vehicle, whether it’s a unique model or simply one that’s sitting in a garage, to register to participate and show it off.” Ben continued.
“This event is free to the public and they can expect to see vehicles from the most-loved Italian motor brands including Fiat, Alfa Romeo, and Ducati, as well as a range of Italian supercars, thanks to our sponsor Zagame Automotive Group, all while soaking in the sunshine and enjoying an espresso!”
“Cars are one of the most iconic aspects of Italian culture and we want to bring the Italian car community together, as well as all car lovers, to celebrate the great history and class that is Italian motoring…it’s also a great family-friendly event that everyone can enjoy,” Ben concluded.
A range of food offerings will be available on the day including wood oven pizzas, porchetta as well as cannoli and coffee.
Further sponsors who will join us on the day include Galipo, North East Iveco and Shannons.
Those interested in participating and displaying their vehicle must register to secure their spot on the day.
