Adelaide can now visit OKAMI’s recently renovated location in Newton to eat as much delicious Japanese food as they like, for $43 per person! With a two-hour sitting, the menu offers over 30 traditional Japanese dishes including sashimi, chicken katsu, squid salad, tempura prawns, chicken teriyaki, and green tea ice-cream.
The team took to their Facebook to say: “We are excited to announce that OKAMI – Newton will be reopening on Wednesday, 2nd October after our recent upgrades and renovation! We truly appreciate your patience during this time and can’t wait to welcome you back to enjoy our delicious All You Can Eat experience.”
Every dish is freshly made and brought to you with table service. Seniors who are dining at Okami can enjoy the all-you-can-eat offer with a 10% discount, while its $25.80 for nine to 12 year olds, $20.80 for four to eight year olds, and free for those under three.
OKAMI was founded in March 2013 with its first store opening in Melbourne and has since expanded around Australia now with over 50 locations, and counting, across the country. When they first opened, Adelaideian’s took to the venue like a moth to flame, now there are two locations to dine at with with one in Glenunga.
The all-you-can-eat menu is split into categories with entrées, mains, and desserts to choose from. There’s Japanese classics you know and love like sushi, sashimi, gyoza dumplings and spring rolls. Diners can enjoy noodles, steamed veggies, fried rice and other side dishes, and eat as much of it as they like.
The dessert menu is simple, but is exactly what you can stomach after a big feed. It includes green tea, black sesame, and vanilla ice cream and authentic fish-shaped cake filled with red bean paste, the perfect way to end your Japanese feast – if you have room!
