Sell-out alternative music and beer festival Froth & Fury kicks off this weekend

Adelaide’s Froth & Fury Fest will kick off this weekend, a staunch day filled with heavy music, craft beers, tattoo stalls, and more.

Heads up, metal and alternative music fans: get ready to mosh with excitement, because heavy music and beer festival Froth & Fury is just around the corner, and it’s shaping up to be huge.

The Adelaide-based festival is set to kick off this Saturday, November 18th, and promises a day filled with awesome bands, craft beers, mouthwatering food trucks, tattoo stalls, and much more.

After a sensational sell-out in 2022, Froth & Fury is returning to Pirate Life Brewing and will bring a fusion of heavy, alternative music, and craft beer to the Port Adelaide brewery.

Once again, Pirate Life Brewing has thrown their support behind Froth & Fury as a staunch supporter of live music, and not only will they provide festival-goers with the backdrop for the festival, but also their beverages, which are a crowd favourite for many. So, prepare to tune into to live music with a frothie in hand, and let the good times roll.

With a massive lineup of 36 bands across 3 stages carefully curated to attract a fiercely loyal fan base, it will be like an elite army following their heroes into battle and beyond.

The festival’s grand finale will be delivered by none other than Brisbane heavyweights The Butterfly Effect. Their emotionally charged, dark, melodic, and energetic hard rock, featuring blazing riffs and soaring vocals, promises to be an unforgettable closing act.

Froth & Fury is welcoming California Punk/Thrash/Crossover legend Suicidal Tendencies to this year’s lineup. With a history spanning 40 years, these musical boundary-breakers are set to bring the same energy and aggression that made them a force to be reckoned with in 1983.

Making their return to Adelaide after reformation, Gold Coast nu-metal pioneers Sunk Loto are back, bigger and better than ever. Celebrating the 20th anniversary of their album ‘Between Birth and Death,’ their thunderous performance is a testament to their enduring legacy in the Australian heavy music scene.

Crossing the ditch for an exclusive set at Froth & Fury, Alien Weaponry will whip the mosh pit into a frenzy with their thrash metal sound and lyrics in the indigenous language, te reo Māori.

And the metal continues with Swedish melodic death metal juggernauts The Halo Effect, featuring iconic guitarists and songwriting wizards Jesper Strömblad and Niclas Engelin, along with other former In Flames members. They are set to close the Fury Stage in epic fashion.

And if you’re ready for an energy boost, Melbourne’s Ocean Grove promises a unique blend of rock, metal, grunge, hip-hop, and Brit-pop influences that will keep the party going strong.

Froth & Fury Fest is a handcrafted festival that brings together heavy, alternative, underground music- and beer lovers, of course. It’s a showcase of hard-edged, punk, rock, and alternative live bands, accompanied by Pirate Life craft beers, so it’s the place to be for music and beer aficionados alike.

The Froth & Fury organisers hope the festival will be an annual event that leaves a mark on the Australian music festival circuit. It thrives on the underground, focusing on bands that can conquer small dark clubs and dominate festival main stages.
