The Sunday afternoon of our dreams is heading for Hahndorf – with Ambleside Distillers, Sunny’s Pizza, Porch Records and Banjo Jackson joining forces for a one-day-only.
Sprawl out at the newly expanded Ambleside Distillery door, sip on G&T’s and soak up the last of the summertime rays at A Day In The Hills this February 27.
Ambleside Distillers was the first distillery to pop up at the Hahndorf locale, creating great gins and curating good times for guests since 2016. Now, teaming up with some of SA’s best producers and creatives, gin lovers can kick back this weekend and indulge in a day for all their senses.
Rolling up to the Hahndorf haven will be the Sunny’s Pizza van, slinging their beloved slices to the afternoon crowds. Chow down on pippin’ hot pizza as you kick back and enjoy the remainder of the weekend. Whether you’re a margarita lover, a spicy sausage fan or an eggplant parmigiana fan – Sunny’s have the pizza slice that will tantalize your taste buds.
Ambleside will be taking care of the drinks side, pouring nips of their award-winning and unique flavoured gins to guests. The distillery door was built “from the garden up,” with the lush botanicals synonymous with the Hills’ inspiring the flavours that course throughout their spirits.
Banjo Jackson will be bringing the good vibes and live music to the Distillery Door, playing his set of acoustic tunes at the Sunday session.
Porch Records – the revolving record store and Summertown Studio pop-up – will also set up shop for the gin-fuelled afternoon. From jazz to soft funk, latest hits and groovy tunes, peruse the array of vinyl for sale and find your next favourite to add to the collection.
Tickets to A Day In The Hills are priced at $35 (plus booking fee), which include an Ambleside G&T on arrival and Sunny’s pizza of choice – easing you into the weekend antics.
