In 2020, an all South Australian panel of beverage experts judged a record number of entries from across the country.
The Australian distilling industry is one of the fastest growing and most diverse in the world, and the Tasting Australia Spirit Awards presented by MasterCask aim to recognise that ingenuity and energy and celebrate the industry’s achievements.
SA distillery, Ambleside Distillers have taken the coveted Best Distiller award for their small Acre Gin and No. 8 Botanical Gin.
“For us entering this festival and competition really embodies everything we stand for, supporting and celebrating like minded producers and the fantastic food and beverage that South Australia and also Australia has on offer,” Matt Dickson, Founder and Distiller at Ambleside Distillery says.
“It’s very pleasing that we have been recognised year after year at these awards and feel very privileged to take out the “best distiller award” this year.”
