Amorette emerged in Australia in 2006, quickly becoming the go-to label for sophisticated femininity and a strong design sensibility. The latest Spring/ Summer collection ‘Body Talk’, is reminiscent of the 70s with inspired abstract prints, feminine patterns, and punching colour used to create a modern update on the disco era.
Designed in Australia by Adelaide born Paul del Giglio, Amorette will take you from desk to dinner and beyond with confidence and style. Whether at play or at business, lounging about or simply being fabulous, Amorette aims for the perfect outfit for any occasion.
Adelaide man Paul, is the design brain behind Amorette, having studied at TAFE SA’s Marleston Campus and then in Milan, he worked in design studios in Stockholm and created trends for international power brand; Max Mara. On returning from Europe, he went on to design for some of Australia’s largest labels then settling in to launch Amorette in 2006.
Amorette’s take on a 70s disco theme is blasted with coral reds, aqua blues, tangy yellows & tangerines, peaches & lilac pack a punch and champagne accentuates the pop colours. Fabrics include luxurious corded lace, sequins, satin back crepes, as well as silk chiffons. Prints range from bold animal prints to water florals and linear abstract prints.
Paul said, “Shapes are softened with frills and flounces and the va va voom factor is everywhere from maxis with sexy thigh high splits, to lace and sequin shifts”.
