A pizza bar in Brooklyn Park is the talk of the town by local schnitzel lovers, as a post in the South Aussie Schnitzel Review Group has gone viral for an odd addition to a schnitzel.
“I found this amazing dish: a giant schnitzel topped with a lobster, plus in garlic sauce. This combination is incredible, and the best part is the price—45 bucks! You can find it at a restaurant called Joe’s Pizza Bar. Highly recommended!,” shared a Facebook user to the group.
The post ignited the group as reactions and comments poured in on the post, which featured Joe’s Pizza Bar’s Thermidor Lobster & Schnitzel, a schnitzel served with half a thermidor lobster, chips, surf & turf sauce and salad. As of December 12th, the post has garnered over 3,000 likes and 700 comments.
The reaction to the post has been mixed with some users keen to get down to try it and some being more critical of the concoction.
“Shellfish on anything – just why? By the time you deal with the lobster shell the schnitzel is cold. Nevermind your sauce has gone all over the shell and not on the schnitzel,” commented a user.
Positive reactions flooded in as well. Commentators said: “ordered from Joes plenty of times …some of the best Schnitys,” and “I’m going to have to go out my way to try this one! Looks amazing!”
