An architectural getaway has appeared deep in Cockatoo Valley

Barossa’s newly designed and built SHED, Parra Wirra was inspired by the old world charm of rural shearing sheds.

Across a 10 acre farm in the South Western region of the Barossa sits a new architecturally designed stay called SHED, Parra Wirra.

The newly designed and built SHED, Parra Wirra was inspired by the old world charm of rural shearing sheds.

Over time the architectural design evolved to merge the old with the new; celebrating industrial aesthetic with galvanised iron walls, expansive five metre ceilings, polished concrete, loads of glass providing an abundance of magnificent natural lighting with many more unique details throughout.

Guests can enjoy cooking in the fully equiped luxury kitchen and eating their meals watching the sunset on the expansive decking.

The master bedroom features a super-king bed, reverse-cycle air-conditioning and fan.

The additional bedroom has a portable fan available for warmer nights and features a great outlook onto the property.

A beautiful breakfasts of local Barossa produce is offered for your enjoyment along with boutique toiletries. The laundry is available on request.

Guests will have the entire property to enjoy. There is a produce shed situated well away from the house.

This shed is leased to local farmers, so please don’t enter.
