An oyster bar is arriving at Plant 3 Bowden

Plant 3 Bowden is about to get even fresher with an incoming oyster bar. It will be the sister venue of House of Fish, which is found in Plant 4 Bowden.

Plant 3 Bowden is about to become even fresher with the arrival soon of their oyster bar, sister venue to House of Fish, which is found in Plant 4 Bowden.

“We are an oyster bar with a twist,” House of Fish Owner Jarn Jamison said.

“To ensure the freshest of the fresh, we’ll be supplying live local oysters that will be shucked and served right in front of your eyes,” Jarn said.

“You can even pick the oysters you want, directly out of the water.”

The oysters will be sourced from a variety of South Australian oyster regions including Kangaroo Island, Coffin Bay, Streaky Bay and Smokey Bay.

“To compliment these incredible oysters, we are serving them with a selection of toppings and flavours, including Yarra Valley Shiraz Caviar, lime pearls, pesto, soy sauce and wasabi,” Jarn said.

“Using only the best ingredients we will create a delicious selection of oysters and toppings.”

Jarn said House of Fish use local oysters to ensure customers are treated to best quality products while tasting the difference depending on where they come from.

“By working closely with the oyster farms in South Australia we can offer different varieties of oysters to showcase the unique and subtle difference of each region,” he said.

“What is the difference between a Coffin Bay Oyster and a Smokey Bay Oyster? Come and see us to find out.”

Visitors will be able to accompany the oysters with a fine sparkling wine from the soon to come Plant 3 Bar. With a café set to join the clan of offerings at Plant 3 Bowden as well, it’s definitely a space to watch.

Jarn said he is excited to be joining the new space which is set to open early next year.

“As a proud South Australian company with over 30 years in the Australian Seafood Industry we are thrilled to create a unique experience showcasing our incredible SA seafood at Plant 3 Bowden,” Jarn said.

“The world is our oyster with this revolutionary foodie experience.”

House of Fish oyster bar will be located at Plant 3 Bowden which is found at 6/14 Fourth St, Bowden.
