Anderson Hill – Lenswood’s glorious, award-winning winery, likely best known for its Art Series range of wines.
The winery is, as usual, taking part in Crush Festival, a showcase of the Adelaide Hills’ bevs, produce, and art.
There’s the daytime event (think views, fabulous estate grown wines, beer, and food), and this year, a Friday night degustation, coined, ‘In The Eye of the Beholder,’ intended to show off Anderson Hill’s premium O-Series wines.
The 2018 O-Series Shiraz was awarded World’s Best Shiraz, taking out a Best in Show and Platinum medal at Decanter World Wine Awards in London 2020.
Decanter World Wine Awards is the largest and most prestigious wine show in the world, with over 160,000 wines entered.
The award is decided by 116 expert judges including 37 Masters of Wine.
The O-Series wines are the centre point of Anderson Hill’s wine portfolio, expressing the best of the site, one of South Australia’s highest and coolest vineyards.
The degustation (priced at $120 plus booking fee) will be prepared by Head Chef Matthew Plant, and is designed to give the guests a chance to experience the world’s best Shiraz alongside the best of the Lenswood region.
