If you’ve got a free Thursday or Friday head to Angove in McLaren Vale, where they have launched an enticing Shared Prix Fixe Lunch, with a menu designed to share. For just $49 per person, you get three delicious courses and a glass of wine.
Led by visionary Executive Chef Georgie Rogers, this new limited addition is artfully crafted from the freshest sustainable ingredients, and is a testament to the region’s rich offerings. Paired impeccably with Angove’s award-winning wines and spirits, this menu ensures an incredibly tasty time.
First up are roasted olives adorned with fennel & blood orange, perfectly accompanied by a house made sourdough focaccia. The journey only intensifies with Spanish-style “morcon” spiced cured pork.
As the meal unfolds, you’ll move onto the ricotta gnudi, served with brown butter mushrooms, roasted celeriac, hazelnuts, and sage. And then, the crescendo – Nomad Farms chicken, gracefully partnered with baby turnip, tuscan kale, and a tantalising Jerusalem artichoke jam.
But it doesn’t stop there. The Angove McLaren Vale Cellar Door Vineyard Dining is open Thursdays through Sundays, with their full menu providing an even bigger sample of the McLaren Vale region. If you are keen to explore their Wine & Distillery Tasting experiences, the cellar door is open every day, from 11am to 5pm.
