Anticipated concert, The Ultimate Event, cancelled

Set to be a night of musical magic The Ultimate Event have cancelled the October show as a result of ongoing COIVD border restrictions.

COVID has claimed another casualty with The Ultimate Event cancelling their October show as a result of ongoing restrictions.

Set to be a night of musical magic, singing sensations Kate Ceberano, David Campbell and Anthony Warlow, as well as a 50-piece orchestra and 9-piece band, were scheduled to grace the stage at Adelaide Oval on October 23 for the highly-anticipated Bloom 2021 Festival.

Cochrane Entertainment and SATC considered alternative dates, however as strict border restrictions continue, uniting various members of the creative team, orchestra and production staff became increasingly impossible.

“We, along with everyone involved in the show, are so disappointed that COVID has rendered our great plans inoperable here,” said Producer Tony Cochrane.

Cochrane thanked both the SATC and Adelaide Oval for their help in trying to making The Ultimate Event come to life, however acknowledged that in the current climate rescheduling was ‘insurmountable’.

“Both are tremendous partners, who have gone above and beyond in an attempt to keep this magical show alive exclusively for Adelaide,” he continued.

“We would like to extend our deepest thanks to the Artists, particularly Anthony, Kate and David, along with all the musicians, the creative team and production people working on getting Australian entertainment back on stage after what has been a very tough year due to the pandemic for all Australian talent,” said Cochrane Entertainment’s Thea Jeanes-Cochrane.

Cochrane Entertainment looks forward to continuing the strong working relationship with SATC.

All ticket purchasers will receive a full refund. Individuals who purchased through Ticketek will communicate directly with customers on Monday with further information regarding obtaining a refund.
