Anvers in Kangarilla is gearing up to celebrate its remarkable 25th anniversary in the world of winemaking with a series of experiences.
One way the winery is celebrating its legacy of passion, dedication (and darn fine wine) in style is by throwing a cellar door party this month – promising to be an unforgettable blend of wine, music, and delicious food.
For a weekend of wine-tastic revelry from this Friday December 8th to Sunday December 10th, the winery will open its doors to the public from 11am to 4pm.
Just a short drive from the CBD, Anvers will host a whole weekend of activities to showcase its winemaking excellence that began in 1998 with their first vintage – and still carries on today, with the Barbera recently taking out the gold award at the Royal Adelaide Show.
Throughout all three days of the celebration, guests are treated to complimentary wine tastings at the Cellar Door as well as mouth-watering pizzas and a delightful casual dining menu available to purchase throughout the day.
On the Saturday and Sunday specifically there will be live music filling the air, creating a magical atmosphere that’s perfect for unwinding. And for that special weekend only, you can enjoy Anvers wines on the lawn at Cellar Door prices.
While there, you can enjoy the new restaurant, cellar door and wedding venue that was unveiled last year, which has raised its profile in the South Australian wine world.
In addition to the anniversary celebrations, this event heralds the launch of the all-new Anvers Wine Club.
Becoming a member unlocks exclusive benefits, including regular deliveries of its latest wine releases, access to private members-only events, and the privilege of savouring unreleased wines.
As if that weren’t enough, Wine Club members receive special bonuses when visiting the Cellar Door and Restaurant (which is perfect for wine lovers who want something a little extra).
But the excitement doesn’t end with the 25th anniversary celebrations. Starting from December 1st, Anvers Cellar Door will be open seven days a week, allowing guests to enjoy wine tasting experiences from 11am to 4pm.
Mondays to Wednesdays will feature local produce boards with cheese, meats, and accoutrements, while Thursdays to Sundays offer the full restaurant service.
